Ohio is my home state. I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and spent a lot of time with extended family on the weekends in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I received my BA in English from the Ohio State University. This makes me not only an Ohio State Buckeyes fan, but also a die-hard Steelers and Penguins fan.

I completed Stephen Minister training and am a spiritual mentor. I enjoy counseling and walking alongside people who need support and guidance. Over the years, I have taught Bible Studies and been involved in women’s ministry and children’s ministry. The Lord is an important part of my life. I don’t know how I’d get through the things that have happened if I didn’t have my faith in Jesus.

My husband and I have been married for 46 years. After an eight-month whirlwind courtship, we married. Through the years, we have learned that true love does travel on a gravel road, as the song goes. With hard work and each giving 100 percent to the relationship, it endures. We have three grown children and seven grandchildren. Today, we live in Northeastern Ohio.

I began writing stories at the age of 9 and have always loved creating characters and crafting tales. I also enjoy writing about the insights God has revealed to me through the Bible, my experiences, and history.

My hobbies include reading, playing golf, and cooking. I love walking, whether it’s indoors with my favorite fitness walking DVD or outside in the fresh air. Watching old movies is my absolute favorite pastime. I adore Humphrey Bogart, Clark Gable, and Cary Grant, but Elvis Presley is my all-time favorite. One of my most cherished memories is seeing Elvis Presley in concert—what an incredible performer!
